This Sales Manager role, reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, offers a terrific opportunity for the customer-centric, self-motivated and focused individual to lead a successful team and have direct input in a growing company. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the company’s profitability and further developing the members of your team. The Sales Manager position requires an ability to multi-task with competing priorities and work productively in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Sales Manager Key Responsibilities:

-LMA: Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable; an End-User Inside Sales Team
-Achieve sales team revenue and production activity goals
-Participate in selection and hiring of sales team members
-Train, coach & develop Sales Team
-Conduct quality pulses with each team member on a regular basis
-Performance management of sales team members, taking corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy
-Assist with pricing, quoting and development of accounts
-Effectively manage the sales pipelines for each team member
-Critically analyze and manage commission statements for team members
-Strategically facilitate partnerships and vendor agreements
-Carefully monitor A/R for individual team members
-Actively participate in special projects as needed

Sales Manager Key Qualifications:

-Business degree or certification preferred
-3-5 years in a sales management or leadership position preferred
-Driven leader who coaches with energy and enthusiasm
-Experience in inside sales and demonstrates an understanding of the B2B sales process- preferably within the IT industry
-Strong understanding of revenue and gross margin projections
-Desire and willingness for constant professional improvement
-Outstanding work-ethic, initiative to take on new tasks and adapt to different situations
-Possesses strong multitasking and time management skills while managing a heavy workload
-Very strong analytical capabilities and impeccable attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team, as well as dynamically lead a team
-Proven history of success in inside sales and cold calling strategies and techniques
