The Networking Account Manager is responsible for achieving revenue quotas for Summit. This person will handle all aspects of new business development, including prospecting, and relationship development. This position will be responsible for developing new customer relationships and building out a new territory, while cultivating ongoing business opportunities within those accounts.

 

This role is great for the driven individual who strives to create successful business relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. The Networking Account Manager opportunity presents an unlimited earning potential through uncapped commissions, bonuses, and additional incentives.  By taking on this role, you are setting yourself up for infinite opportunity, while joining a fun, hardworking team within an established and thriving IT equipment provider!

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Own your outcomes: Exercise unwavering daily efforts, so that sales coaching is centered around goals, selling skills, and advancing your career.

-Prospect and cold call potential client opportunities that fit the Summit ideal customer profile.

-Collaborate with the Sales leadership and team members to drive the overall success of the company.

-Manage and maximize marketing leads resulting in new business development.

-Daily outbound communications including calling (70+ calls a day), e-correspondence and social media activity.

-Become an expert on Networking products, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls.

-Create and deliver quotes to prospective and existing clients.

-Create and deliver sales orders to purchasing department.

-Consult with customers and offer solutions that are appropriate for their needs.

-Own the customer relationship; deliver exceptional customer service and follow-up with clients.

-Effectively manage account revenue generation.

 

Key Qualifications:

-Relevant experience in sales or business development – industry experience a plus

-Inside sales experience a plus

-College degree preferred

-Customer service skills

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to influence others

-A highly focused work regimen with ability to self-manage and thrive in an entrepreneurial and team environment

-Demonstrated drive to succeed, achieve goals and make money
